When using a VPN, your IP address is "Masked", as it were, this does not allow third-party services to see your personal IP address. A little bit about the principle of tracking: when you connect to a site, it sends a request to your provider to get an IP address, and no matter how much you would like it, he gets it.
Unfortunately, a VPN can sometimes fail in the user's security system, namely, your personal IP can somehow leak outside the tunnel created by the VPN. Because of this, sites can track your personal IP in the same mode.
To check for an IP address leak, the DNS LEAK TEST service was created:

▫️ The check will begin. In the event that you see your IP as a result, change the VPN.
With such leaks, only some data of the Internet provider is visible, but they will be enough to determine your real IP. Therefore, it is better to take good care of your safety and avoid situations with leaks.
