What is a network node?
• A node is a part of a computer network or a device connected to other participants (nodes) of this network. It can be either a computer or a special switch, router or hub.
• Each node of the computer network has its own IP address.
• The address of a node in the network can be either static (permanent) or dynamic (changing). It depends on the settings of the Internet provider. It can give you a static IP address that will be used constantly, or choose one of the currently available addresses each time you connect to the network.
