How to find out the exact Wi-Fi signal strength in Windows
The quality of your Internet connection directly depends on the Wi-Fi signal. Windows has a convenient built-in way to determine its current level.
How to do it:
1. Make sure you are connected to the Wi-Fi network you want to test.
2. Open the command prompt, enter the command "netsh wlan show interfaces" and press Enter.
3. You will see all the parameters of the current wireless connection. The "Signal" field indicates the exact signal strength from 0 to 100 percent. This will help to identify if there are problems in the Internet connection.
To find out the signal strength of all available Wi-Fi networks — enter the command "netsh wlan show network mode=bssid". Detailed information on all connections will appear.
