OFDM method.
• OFDM is one of the methods of digital signal modulation that allows increasing the data transfer rate due to the reasonable use of communication channels and data transmission method. The main reason for the appearance and application of this signal processing method is the search for ways to combat broadband interference – the main reason for poor communication in conditions of a large number of large-sized obstacles in the form of multi-storey residential buildings and other buildings.
• The principle of operation of this method is based on splitting the data stream using the inverse discrete Fourier transform into smaller components that are transmitted in parallel, each at its own frequency. This allows not only to achieve a high data transfer rate, but also to minimize various kinds of interference.
• The data received by the recipient goes through the integrity restoration procedure, for which, again, a fast discrete Fourier transform is used, only this time direct.
