How to turn off the webcam completely on a laptop?
If you don't have to use the camera and microphone often, you can turn them off. You need to open the "Device Manager" ("Win+R", then run devmgmt.msc) -> "Cameras" or "Sound devices".
Then right-click on the camera or microphone and select "Disconnect device". To enable them, do the same steps, only you will need to select "Enable".
