How to view saved Wi-Fi passwords in Android
Using File Managers:
First of all, you need a file manager that gives you read access to the root folder. If your default file manager does not give you read access to the root folder, you can install Root Explorer or Super Manager, which will grant you superuser rights to access the system folder.
1. Go to the data/misc/ wifi folder and you will find a file named wpa supplicant.conf.
2. Open the file and be sure to open the file in the embedded text/HTMLViewer to complete the task. Now in this file you will be able to see next to it the SSID of the network and their passwords.
Now write down the network name and password. This way you will be able to view all your saved WiFi passwords on your Android device.
Note: Please do not edit anything in wpa supplicant.conf, as this may affect the operation of your device or affect your WiFi connection.
ES Explorer:
1. Download and install the ES File Explorer app on your Android device and open the app.
2. Now you need to enable the "Root Explorer" option in ES File Explorer.
3. Now you need to go to the root folder in ES File Explorer and you need to find a directory called "Data".
4. Now in the "Data" section you need to find the "Miscellaneous" folder.
5. Now in the WiFi folder you need to find a file named wpa supplicant.conf. Just open the file using the built-in text/HTML viewer in ES File Explorer.
6. Now you can see your entire SSID (network name) along with the PSK (password) next to it and close the file.
That's it! Done, here's how you can find your saved Wi-Fi password using ES File Explorer.
