📱 Darknet sites selling drugs are switching to using Android applications
Resecurity specialists have noticed that darknet marketplaces selling illegal substances have started using their own Android apps to increase privacy and avoid the attention of law enforcement agencies. The trend has been observed since the third quarter of 2022. The behavior of the criminals was a response to the closure of Hydra Market and the desire to lure the users of Hydra to themselves.
Experts named seven examples of trading platforms that have released APK files of Android applications: Yakudza, TomFord24, 24Deluxe, PNTS32, Flakka24, 24Cana and MapSTGK. Their applications allow you to transmit data about orders, as well as send the geographical coordinates of the "treasure" to the buyer.
The most well-known darknet platforms have not yet released Android apps and are instead busy competing with each other, striving to build the same monopoly that Hydra Market previously achieved.
