A real war broke out in Mexico between cartels and the military. The day before, the leader of the Sinaloa drug cartel, Ovidio Guzman-Lopez, was arrested here – the son of the famous drug lord El Chapo ("Shorty"), who is serving a life sentence in the United States for drug smuggling and money laundering.
A statement on behalf of the drug cartel with an ultimatum is being distributed on social networks: either the authorities release the drug lord in the next 72 hours, or the group attacks gas stations, shopping malls, military and government facilities.
