The provider of analytical software MicroStrategy additionally purchased 2501 BTC. This was announced by the founder of the company, Michael Saylor.

According to a report to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, between November 1 and December 21, 2022, MicroStrategy acquired about 2,395 BTC for $42.8 million at a price of $17,871.
The same document states that on December 22, the company sold approximately 704 BTC worth $11.8 million. On December 24, MicroStrategy bought 810 BTC for $13.6 million at an average price of about $16,845.
At the time of writing, the company owns 132,500 BTC worth approximately $4.03 billion at $30,397.
MicroStrategy's previous investment in the first cryptocurrency took place in September — the firm acquired 301 BTC for $ 6 million.
Bitcoin is trading at $16,600, according to CoinGecko.
Recall that in November, Saylor confirmed the MicroStrategy rate for further purchases of digital gold, despite the continued decline of the cryptocurrency market.
