A multi-paradigm statically typed compiled programming language created by Walter Bright of Digital Mars. Since 2006, the co-author is also Andrei Alexandrescu. D is a descendant of the C++ language, but has been significantly improved in comparison with it. He also borrows a number of concepts from the programming languages Python, Ruby, C#, Java, Eiffel.
