Wireless sensor networks.

Wireless sensor networks.

• Wireless sensor networks are distributed, self—organizing networks with multiple sensors and actuators that are interconnected using a radio channel.

• A standard wireless sensor network consists of two main elements:

1) The sensor node.
2) Network architecture.

• It should be noted that wireless sensor networks as a whole can be considered one of the most important technologies of the twenty-first century. Recent developments in the field of MEMS sensors (micro electromechanical systems) and wireless communication have made it possible to create cheap, low-power, miniature and intelligent sensors that can be installed in a vast space, and communication with them can be provided via wireless communication channels and the Internet for various civil and military applications.
