• Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is a remote vector routing protocol. Routers operating through this protocol send all or part of their routing table to neighbors in a message for updating.

• RIP allows you to configure hosts as RIP network nodes. The procedure for setting up such a routing method is quite simple. In addition, it provides automatic updating of routing tables when the network changes or network communication stops.
